Djuricic Named Ivy League Rookie of the Week

The freshman tallied career-highs across the board against Manhattan and Holy Cross (Paul Rutherford).

PRINCETON, N.J. – Breaking out in the first road action of the year, Harvard men's basketball's Danilo Djuricic has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for Nov. 13-19.

Djuricic was strong on both ends of the floor, averaging 12.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game against Holy Cross and Manhattan. The Brampton, Ontario native poured in a career-high 14 points against the Crusaders, and knocked down five 3-point shots over the weekend. He also rejected a career-best five shots against Holy Cross.

The weekly honor is the second for the Crimson this season, as Bryce Aiken was named the player of the Week for Nov. 6-12. Harvard men's basketball heads to Fullerton, California this week for the Wooden Legacy tournament, and opens with Saint Mary's on Thanksgiving Day on ESPNEWS.
