Men's and Women's Heavyweight, Lightweight Crews Place 39 on 2019 IRA All-Academic Teams

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Identical to the 2017-18 season, thirty-nine (39) combined athletes from the Harvard men's heavyweight, men's lightweight and Radcliffe lightweight crews earned Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) All-Academic awards, as announced by the IRA Board of Stewards today, June 26.

Fifteen (15) from the men's heavyweight crew - David Ambler, James Clarke, Lucas Clarke, Liam Corrigan, George Cozens, Carter Dickinson, Arthur Doyle, Christopher Fenaroli, David Fleming, Lars Lorch, Andrew Morley, Curties McLeod, Sam Meijer, Pieter Quinton and Ethan Seder were recognized. 

Fifteen (15) from the men's lightweight crew - Matt Cheng, Hunter Wallace, Nick Barry, Drake Deuel, Victor Olsen, Andrew Wilkins, David Wexner, Aidan Crawford, Andrew Sterne, Tate Huffman, Nick Kochanek, Chris Skokowski, Jack Stone, Rob Lowe and Zach Altshuler earned recognition. 

Nine (9) from the Radcliffe lightweight crew - Juliet Pesner, Olivia Farrar, Claire Albert, Tessa Buchan, Gina Cusing, Claire Burch, Ana Watley, Clara Duffy and Molly Lesser were honored. 

For a student-athlete to be eligible, she/he must be at least a sophomore in standing and completed one full year at her/his respective institution; maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.35 or higher; earned an institutional letter and competed at the 2019 Intercollegiate Rowing Association Regatta.
