PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Harvard had two consistent rounds this past weekend as the Crimson placed sixth at the Philadelphia Big 5 Invitational, hosted at Philadelphia Cricket Club by Temple University. Harvard recorded rounds of 301 and 300 to finish just one shot behind Penn and Binghamton for fourth place.
Sophomore Mark Pollak paced the Crimson as he tied for seventh place in the event with a first round score of 74 and a second round score of 73.
Greg Shuman and Tony Grillo placed among the Top 25 in the field with identical scores of 150 to finish in a tie for 21st overall.
Next week the Crimson looks to break through in the inaugural Ivy League Match Play event held at the Bay Club in Mattapoisett, Mass.
