De La Garza Leads Men’s Golf After Day One at Regionals

COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. – Senior Daniel De La Garza finished plus-one to lead Harvard men's golf after day one of the NCAA Men's Golf Regional Championship at The Grove.

The Crimson stand tied for No. 12 with Texas Tech at plus-11 (299). Vanderbilt leads the field at minus-9.

Senior Robert Deng is one stroke behind De La Garza at plus-two (74) on the 7,333-yard course. Senior Kendrick Vinar and junior Greg Royston rank third on the team, 45th overall, with scores of 76 after the first day.

Harvard will be back in action tomorrow at the Grove. Tee time for the Crimson is 9:50 a.m.
