Capart, Royston Named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.Aurian Capart '19 and Greg Royston '18 of the men's golf team earned Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar Accolades, the GCAA announced.

This is the second consecutive year Royston has won the award.

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.

The duo helped lead the Crimson to a third-place finish at the Ivy League Championships last spring. Royston was the 2018 SLD William J. Bingham Award winner and the 2018 Alex Vik '78 MVP Award winner.
