CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Hitting the links for the second straight weekend, the Harvard men's golf team will compete in the Macdonald Cup at The Course at Yale on Sept. 29-30.

The Crimson will take six players down to New Haven, Conn. Grant Fairbairn, Rij Patel, Aurian Capart, Oliver Cordeiro, and Brian Isztwan will be the five players competing as a team, while Peter George will participate as an individual.
What To Know
- Harvard placed third in last year's Macdonald Cup with a three-round aggregate team score of 874 (287-290-297).
- Senior captain Aurian Capart was the highest Ivy League golfer at last year's event, turning in a two-over par, 54-hole total of 212 (72-68-72) to finish fourth.
- At the Quechee Collegiate Challenge, sophomore Grant Fairbairn led the 74-player field with a 3.75 scoring average on the par fours as he finished sixth overall with a two-day score of 143 (70-73).
At The Helm
Kevin Rhoads, The Bobby Jones '24 Coach for Harvard Men's Golf, endowed by the Mehra Family, enters his seventh season at the helm of the Harvard men's golf program. Under his leadership, the Crimson have won back-to-back Ivy League Championships in 2016 and 2017, while being named the Ivy League Coach of the Year.
The Crimson closes out its fall season with a 36-hole, Ivy Match Play event against Yale and Princeton on Long Island on Oct. 13.
