CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After appearing in four fall tournaments throughout the Northeast, Harvard men's golf has announced a four-tournament campaign for its spring season.
The 2019 spring slate begins at the Michigan Desert Mountain Tournament March 9-10 in Scottsdale, Arizona, and continues at the Princeton Invitational April 6-7. In its final pre-Ivy League tune-up, Harvard will travel to new Haven for the Yale Opener on April 13.
The Ivy League Golf Championships are scheduled for April 19-21 at Stonewall Golf Club in Elverson, Pennsylvania. The NCAA regional championships, which hosts the top Ivy team and qualified individuals, will be held May 12-15 around the country, while Arkansas hosts the 2019 NCAA championships at The Blessings Golf Club May 24-29.
Junior Rij Patel led the Crimson with a 71.6 average in the fall, while five Harvard golfers carded rounds of 70 or better. Harvard has won two of the last three Ivy League championships, and will look for its first since the 2017 season.
