Patrick Doherty joined the Crimson coaching staff prior to the start of the 2018-2019 season as Assistant Coach of the men's golf team. Patrick joined the program after spending five years coaching high school golf at Arlington Catholic in Arlington, MA.
During his tenure at Arlington Catholic, the Cougars won five straight conference titles, won sectionals, had a fifty-game unbeaten match streak, and placed in the top three in MA twice. His collegiate studies at Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C. earned him a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, including a concentration in PGA Professional Golf Management in 2002. His professional career has followed both golf and a more traditional corporate business path gaining experience across industries as a leader, mentor and coach. These experiences contribute greatly to the Harvard Golf program mission of educating tomorrow’s leaders through the pursuit of competitive golf excellence.
