Leading all ECAC Hockey and Ivy League programs, Harvard men’s ice hockey will have six alumni on opening night rosters to start the 2019-20 NHL season. The six players at the NHL level are among the 20 Harvard men’s ice hockey alumni playing professional hockey this season.
Members of the Harvard men’s ice hockey team participated in two community initiatives this past weekend, as a group of players went to Beebe Elementary School in Malden to lead the Harvard Crimson Reading Program initiative on Friday (Sept. 20), while several others attended the Pulling For Hope of Boston event for the American Cancer Society on Sunday (Sept. 22).
Junior defenseman Reilly Walsh was named to the Preseason All-ECAC Hockey team by the league’s coaches, the conference announced today (Sept. 18). In addition, Harvard was picked to finish fourth in league play.
Harvard men's ice hockey excelled both on the ice and in the classroom in 2018-19, leading ECAC Hockey with 29 selections to the league's All-Academic Team, the conference announced today. The entire team roster earned all-academic distinction.

The Harvard men’s ice hockey program has announced the seven-member incoming first-year class of 2023. The Crimson will welcome three forwards, three defensemen, and on goaltender. The group hails from two countries (U.S. and Canada) and represents five states and one province.
