Robinson joined the Harvard men’s hockey coaching staff as the volunteer goaltender coach prior to the 2016-17 season.

In his first season working with Harvard's netminders, Robinson helped junior goaltender Merrick Madsen earn All-ECAC Hockey third team accolades, as well as a spot on the semifinalist list for the Mike Richter Award as the nation's top goaltender. As a team, Harvard won the Beanpot, Ivy League, ECAC regular season and championship titles and reached the NCAA Frozen Four. 

Madsen earned Second Team All-Ivy League honors in 2017-18, capping off a historic career in net in the Crimson under the guidance of Robinson.

Robinson works as the managing director and video coordinator for Stop It Goaltending. He has worked in that position since January 2007. He works with netminders at the NHL, AHL and collegiate level, developing them through on-ice training, as well as video sessions.

He also boasts collegiate coaching experience, serving as the goaltending coach for Bentley from 2011-2015. Additionally, Robinson has international coaching experience, working with the Chinese women’s national team briefly, assisting with USA Hockey and he is currently coaching with Adler Mannheim of Germany.

Robinson is a 2010 graduate of Worcester State.
