PERRY, N.Y. – Harvard men's lacrosse senior Devin Dwyer has been named to the 75th DI-II USILA/Nike North-South Senior All-Star Game. The annual contest featuring the best seniors from across the nation will take place Friday, May, 27 on the campus of Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania.
Dwyer, the lone Ivy Leaguer to represent the North roster, capped his career with one of the best seasons in Harvard men's lacrosse history, ranking eighth in the NCAA in points per game (4.55), 20th in goals per game (2.50) and 15th in assists per game (2.00).
The Garden City, New York native saved his best for last, notching a personal best 72 points this season on a career high 40 goals to go with 32 assists to mark the first time in Harvard history that a student-athlete has recorded 30-plus goals and 30-plus assists in the same season. Dwyer etched his name across the Harvard record books, ranking 10th in both single season goals and third in career points (211) and career assists (123). Dwyer was also recognized as Harvard's first Tewaaraton Award nominee and finished with a 49-game scoring streak, the third-longest active streak in the NCAA.
Dwyer adds to his list of postseason honors, as he previously garnered All-Ivy League first team and NEILA All-New England first team honors earlier this month.
