PRINCETON, N.J. – Junior goalie Robert Shaw of the Harvard men's lacrosse team was named the Ivy League Co-Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Shaw made 19 stops, including eight in the fourth quarter, to lead the Crimson to a 9-8 upset win of No. 11 Yale. The Canton, Massachusetts product finished the year third in the league in save percentage (52.6).
This marks the first weekly honor this year for the Crimson. Shaw shares the accolade with Jeff Teat of Cornell.
