CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After a strong year in front of the net and in the classroom, senior Robert Shaw of the men's lacrosse team has been named a Scholar All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).
The award adds to a list of accolades for Shaw, who was also an All-Ivy second team and All-New England first team honoree. The netminder ranked fourth nationally with 12.85 saves per game, and he became the sixth player in Harvard history to record 500 career stops between the posts.
Additionally, Shaw earned academic honors from CoSIDA, as he was placed on the All-District at large team.
