Butler is the 14th Crimson player to earn NEILA all-academic recognition since 2016, and award is the Summit, New Jersey native's first career honor.
The academic award comes on the heels of a senior campaign in which Butler garnered Ivy League Honorable Mention accolades. The defenseman shared team-high honors with 45 ground balls and was tied for second on the team with 14 caused turnovers. Over his final seven games, Butler collected 31 ground balls, including a personal-record eight vs. Cornell.
