CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Continuing to raise the bar in the classroom and strive for academic success, the Harvard men's lacrosse team finished the 2019 fall semester with a team grade-point average of 3.40.
"Our student-athletes immersed themselves in the variety of educational opportunities of Harvard College this past fall, studying what they are passionate about to prepare them for a life of inquiry and engagement," The Frisbie Family Head Coach for Harvard Men's Lacrosse, Gerry Byrne, commented.
A total of 16 student-athletes achieved a 3.5 or above GPA, while four players earned a 3.8 or above and one accomplished a 4.0 GPA. With concentrations ranging from economics, government, applied mathematics, computer science, human evolutionary biology and more, the Crimson has created a strong academic culture that values commitment in the classroom.
