PRINCETON, N.J. – Pushing Harvard's unbeaten streak to six games with three shutouts in a row, junior goalkeeper Kyle Parks has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week for Oct. 10-16. The weekly honor is the first of Parks' career.
Parks recorded back-to-back shutouts against Boston College and Brown, extending his shutout streak to a career-best 293 minutes. Parks spotless record kept Harvard tied for first in the league at 2-0-1, making four saves in each contest. The win over BC was Parks' second shutout against a top-25 team in the RPI, as he also stopped Washington Sept. 11.
This season, Parks leads the Ivy League with 55 saves and seven victories. Harvard men's soccer travels to Princeton on Saturday, Oct. 22 for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.
