No. 4 Men's Squash Takes Down No. 6 Drexel, 7-2

Junior Madhav Dhingra helped the Crimson move to 2-0 on the season with a win at the No. 3 position against No. 6 Drexel (Gil Talbot).

– The No. 4 Harvard men's squash team began its three-game road trip by defeating No. 6 Drexel, 7-2, on Friday afternoon.

The Crimson (2-0) had five positions that earned 3-0 decisions over their opponents from Drexel (6-3). Harvard opens its season with a 2-0 mark for the first time since the 2013-14 season.

Juniors Madhav Dhingra and David Ryan, along with freshman Timothy Brownell, cruised to clean sweeps to give Harvard three points from the No. 3-5 spots.

Freshman Sean Hughes and senior captain Devin McLaughlin also won 3-0 at the No. 8 and No. 9 positions, respectively. It was Hughes' first career win in Crimson.

Junior Bradley Smith battled to a 3-1 win at the No. 2 spot, and senior captain Bryan Koh rallied for a 3-2 win in the No. 7 slot to cap off the victory for Harvard.

Harvard now looks ahead to two Ivy League contests, traveling to play No. 7 Penn at 3 p.m. on Saturday, before facing No. 11 Princeton Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
