Men’s Squash First-Year Victor Crouin Heads to National Championship Game

PROVIDENCE, R.I – First-year Victor Crouin of the Harvard men's squash team advanced to the Pool Trophy: Division A National Championship after defeating Yale's Spencer Lovejoy, 11-3, 11-4, 11-5, Saturday at the Nicol Squash Club at Moses Brown School in Providence. He will take on Mohamed El Gawarhy of St. Lawrence on Sunday, March 3, at 12:30 p.m.

Crouin continues his dominance on the national stage, earning his third-consecutive three-set victory in the tournament. The first-year looks to give Harvard back-to-back national champions, following in the footsteps of David Ryan, a senior on the men's squash team last year.

Sophomore Julien Gosset, meanwhile, fell in his Molloy East: Division B semifinal match against the field's top-ranked Matthew Giegerich of Dartmouth, 3-11, 10-12, 8-11.
