CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Once again, the Harvard men's swimming and diving team has been recognized for its outstanding efforts in the classroom this year, as the Crimson have earned College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honors, touting the nation's highest GPA.
Harvard proved itself to be the top squad in the classroom, combining for a 3.57 GPA in the spring semester. What's more, the Crimson claimed the Ivy League Dual Season title en route to a perfect 9-0 regular season and a second place finish at the always competitive Ivy League Championships.
The CSCAA Scholar All-America award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams which have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented twice annually, once to teams achieving the standard in the fall semester and once for teams achieving the standard in the spring semester.
