Diving Wraps up Day One of Wally Nakamoto Hawai’i Diving Invitational

HONOLULU, Hawai'i – The men's and women's Harvard diving teams concluded the first day of the Wally Nakamoto Hawai'i Diving Invitational Thursday with the men's one-meter and women's three-meter competitions finishing.

In the men's one-meter competition, Luke Martinez and David Pfeifer earned top-10 finishes. Martinez came away with an eighth-place showing with his score of 262.65, while Pfeifer took ninth with a 258.75. Hawai'i's Amund Gismervik won the event.

The women also placed a pair in the top-10 in the three-meter board led by the sixth-place finish of Hannah Allchurch. The sophomore registered a score of 289.55 to just miss the top-five, while Elina Leiviskä claimed 10th with her 277.30. North Carolina's Elissa Dawson took the top sot.

Action continues in Hawai'i Friday with the women's one-meter, men's three-meter and women's platform events.
