Feature: Men's Swimming and Diving's Houck Competes at FINA World Cup
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Freshman men’s swimmer Logan Houck was among the top-14 swimmers from the USA national junior team to compete at the FINA World Cup of Swimming events in Doha, Qatar and Dubai, United Arab Emirates earlier this month. Houck has been a member of the national junior team for the last two years and ranks among the top swimmers in the 1,500 freestyle on the national level and the 1,650 early in his college career for the Crimson. In Doha and Dubai, Houck competed in the 400 and 1,500 freestyle events with his top performance coming in the 1,500 in Doha when he placed sixth with a time of 15:19.14. For Harvard, Houck has posted wins in the 1,000 free in his first two collegiate meets at Cornell and Columbia. He also claimed the top spot in the 500 free in Ithaca, New York.
