Farris Named To Team USA For 2019 World University Games

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's swimmer Dean Farris will represent the United States at the 2019 World University Games in Naples, Italy announced today (Oct. 18).

Farris, a two-time Phil Moriarty High Point Swimmer, is the only Ivy League swimmer named to Team USA's 52-member squad.  Over the course of his career in Cambridge, he has amassed three All-America first team honors, and 14 All-Ivy first team selections, including eight on relays. 

Seventeen different college programs are represented on the roster, including eight members of the Team USA squad that competed in the 2018 Pan Pacific Championships.  The seven-day swimming competition is scheduled for July 4-10, 2019.
