AUSTIN, Texas – The Harvard men's swim team began competition at the Hall of Fame Invitational on Wednesday night in Austin, Texas. The 800-yard freestyle relay was the lone event contested during a meet that is slated to run through Saturday night.

The Crimson squad of Levente Bathory, Andrew Acosta, Raphael Marcoux and Zach Snyder posted a time of 6:40.89, which was good for 11th place. The competition represented the first time Harvard has competed in the 800 free relay this season.

Wednesday night marked the first time the foursome swam together in any relay this season despite entering this week's invitational with a 4-0 dual record (3-0 Ivy League).
