Men’s Tennis Hosts Boston College, Quinnipiac in Final Non-Conference Bout

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—The Harvard men's tennis team returns to Cambridge for its final non-conference bout this weekend, March 31, playing host to crosstown-rival Boston College and Quinnipiac. The Crimson opens the doubleheader against the Eagles at 12 p.m., before returning to the court to take on the Bobcats at 4 p.m. Match location will be announced Sunday morning. Matches played in the Murr Center will be streamed on ESPN3.

What to Know
-The Crimson closed out its West Coast road trip last weekend with a 2-1 record at the San Diego Spring Classic, picking up wins over San Diego State (4-1) and Princeton (4-3).
-Last time out, Brian Shi picked up the match-clinching point for the Crimson, bouncing back from a first-set loss to claim the match in a third-set tiebreaker, 3-6, 7-4, 7-6(1).
-Harvard leads Boston College, 10-0, in the all-time series. In their last meeting during the 2015-16 season, the Crimson took down the Eagles, 6-1.
-This weekend marks the first time Harvard has faced off against the Bobcats since the 2010-11 season, when the Crimson extended its all-time series record over Quinnipiac to 3-0 with a decisive 6-1 victory.
