CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Coming off a successful 2018-19 season, the Harvard's men's tennis team has announced its 2019 fall schedule, comprising of six tournaments.
Kicking off the fall season, the Crimson will travel to Cal Berkley for the Napa Invite, Sept. 13-15. Following their weekend in California, the team will compete at the Ivy Plus tournament on Sept. 20-22 at Penn and Yale. Harvard will round out the month at the Georgia Fall Invite which takes place Sept. 27-29.
Harvard will hit the road for the Dartmouth Invite held from Oct. 4-6, followed by the ITA Regionals held at Penn from Oct. 17-22. For its only home contest of the fall, Harvard will host California, Cornell, Indiana and Virginia Tech to close out the fall season at Chowder Fest on Nov. 8-10.
The Crimson ended the 2018-19 season on a strong note, winning eight of its last ten matches and advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year. Key returners for the Crimson include second team All-Ivy honorees, Brian Shi and Robert Wrzesinski, as well as captains Galen Lee and Logan Weber. Both Lee and Weber were ITA Scholar-Athletes last season.
All indoor home matches will be played at the Murr Center Tennis Courts and will be broadcast on ESPN3.
