Men’s Tennis Finishes Day One Action at ITA Regionals

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Harvard men's tennis team concluded singles qualification at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships today, Oct. 17. Competing for the Crimson was senior captains Galen Lee and Logan Weber.

After dropping the first set, 6-2, to Alexander Hammit of Drexel, Lee came back to win the next two sets, 6-3, 10-7, to advance. Lee would drop his next match against John Speicher of Dartmouth, 6-4, 6-2. Weber was defeated by Kabir Sarita of Princeton in his opening match.

The Crimson will continue regional play on Saturday, Oct. 19 with singles round of 64. Taking the court will be sophomore Harris Walker and first-years Ronan Jachuck and Henry von der Schulenburg.

  • Lee has won his first match in every tournament he has competed in during fall play.
