CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's volleyball hits the road for a pair of spring break matches at Barton on Monday, March 18 at 7 p.m. and at Mount Olive on Tuesday, March 19 at 7 p.m.
What to Know
- Harvard is coming off its second-straight sweep, beating Sacred Heart, 3-0, on Saturday at the Malkin Athletic Center.
- Offensively, Harvard is led by Griffin Schmit, who leads the team with 2.83 kills per set and sits eighth in the EIVA in the category. Setter Matthew Ctvrtlik has 469 assists this season, good for third in the EIVA, and is averaging 8.53 assists per set, which is fourth in the league.
- Defensively, Jason Shen is averaging 2.04 digs per set, leading the Crimson and third in the EIVA while Ctvrtlik closely follows with 1.96 digs per set. On the front line, Trevor Dow is tied for the league-lead with 14 solo blocks on the year.
Harvard takes next weekend off, before welcoming Penn State and Saint Francis (PA) to Cambridge for a couple of EIVA matches on Friday, March 29 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 30 at 4 p.m. Both matches will be streamed live on ESPN+.
