  • Men’s Volleyball Tops Daemen in Four Sets
    January 16, 2020
    AMHERST, N.Y. – In its second straight match at Daemen College, the Harvard men’s volleyball team (3-2) defeated host Daemen (0-3) in four sets, coming back from a 1-0 deficit to win the match. The Crimson dropped the first set 25-21 but rallied back to take the next three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-23 and 26-24.
  • Men’s Volleyball Falls Short Against No. 8 Pepperdine

    AMHERST, N.Y. – The Harvard men’s volleyball team (2-2) dropped its neutral site match against No. 8 Pepperdine (3-0) on Wednesday, Jan. 15 in four sets. The Crimson came back from a 25-18 loss in the first set to defeat the Waves in set two 25-20. However, Pepperdine would remain dominant in the next two sets winning by scores of 25-22 and 25-19.
  • Men’s Volleyball Heads to New York for Matches Against No. 9 Pepperdine, Daemen

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Off to its best start to the season since 2013, the Harvard men’s volleyball team (2-1) will head to Amherst, N.Y. for a neutral site match against No. 9 Pepperdine (1-0) on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. followed by a contest against host university Daemen (0-1) on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 6 p.m. Both matches will be streamed on the ECC Network.
  • Men’s Volleyball Takes Down Emmanuel (Ga.) in Straight Sets

    HONOLULU, Hawaii – The Harvard men’s volleyball team (2-1) defeated Emmanuel (Ga.) (0-3) for its second win of the season in straight sets. The Crimson handedly defeated the Lions earning a victory with set scores of 25-11, 25-16 and 25-15.
  • Men’s Volleyball Falls to Top-Ranked Hawai’i

    HONOLULU, Hawaii – The Harvard men’s volleyball team (1-1) suffered its first loss of the season to No. 1 Hawai’i (4-0), Saturday, Jan. 11. The Crimson dropped the match against the Rainbow Warriors in three sets, losing by set scores of 17-25, 18-25 and 17-25.
  • Men’s Volleyball Defeats Grand Canyon in Straight Sets in First Match of the Season

    HONOLULU, Hawaii – The Harvard men’s volleyball team defeated Grand Canyon in three sets to earn its first win of the season. The Crimson (1-0, 0-0 EIVA) took down the Antelopes (0-1, 0-0 MPSF) in highly contested sets winning by scores of 25-18, 25-23 and 25-23.
  • Men’s Volleyball Opens Up 2020 Season at Hawai’i

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men’s volleyball team will begin its season with three matches at the Raising Cane’s Rainbow Warrior Classic hosted by the University of Hawai’i, Jan. 9-11. The Crimson will first face Grand Canyon at 9 p.m. EST on Thursday, Jan. 9 before taking on No. 1 Hawai’i at 12 a.m. EST on Saturday, Jan. 11. Harvard will wrap up the tournament with a match against Emmanuel (Ga.) at 9 p.m. EST on the same day.
  • Men’s Volleyball Unveils 2020 Schedule

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Harvard men’s volleyball team has released its 2020 schedule, today Oct. 23. The Crimson will play 15 matches on the road and 10 matches at home this season. All home contests will take place at the Malkin Athletic Center and be broadcast on ESPN+.
  • Men’s Volleyball Earns Eighth Consecutive AVCA Team Academic Award

    LEXINGTON, Ky. -  As one of 19 programs to be honored, the Harvard men’s volleyball team has received the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award for the eighth-straight year, as announced today, July 22. The award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. A record 973 programs received the award for this past season.
  • Men’s Volleyball Announces Class of 2023

    Brian Baise, the head coach of Harvard men’s volleyball and James Herscot ’58 Coach of Excellence, has announced the newcomers that will form the men’s volleyball Class of 2023. Joining the Crimson will be Ethan McCrary, Ethan Smith and Will Sorenson.
