HONOLULU, Hawaii – The Harvard men's volleyball team (1-1) suffered its first loss of the season to No. 1 Hawai'i (4-0), Saturday, Jan. 11. The Crimson dropped the match against the Rainbow Warriors in three sets, losing by set scores of 17-25, 18-25 and 17-25.
Sophomore Campbell Schoenfeld kept his double-digit kill streak alive, posting 11 kills on the night. Fellow sophomore Ryan Hong led the Crimson with a .333 attack percentage, notching three kills on six attacks.
- Harvard's 18 points in the second set is the second most points that Hawaii has allowed the opposing team to score all season.
- Sophomore Eric Li had two service aces on the night.
The Crimson will close out the Raising Cane's Rainbow Warrior Classic against Emmanuel (Ga.) on Jan. 11 at 9 p.m. EST.
