CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 15 Harvard men's water polo team defeated No. 18 St. Francis (N.Y.), 9-7, in the semifinal round of the NWPC Tournament Conference on Saturday afternoon. Freshman Dennis Blyashov and sophomore Charlie Owens each had three goals.
At the end of the first quarter, the Crimson and Terriers were tied at three goals apiece. At halftime, the Crimson's five goals weren't good enough to overcome the Terriers' seven. Two goals for the Crimson, one from Blyashov and one from Owens, helped bring the score back to seven goals apiece at the end of the third quarter.
In the fourth quarter Harvard was able to pull ahead thanks to goals from freshman Jackson Enright and a final score from Blyashov. In net, junior Anthony Ridgley kept the Terriers off the board in the second half, making 11 saves.

Harvard will play the winner of Princeton vs. Brown tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. for the NWPC Conference Championship. The game will air on the Ivy League Network.
