CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Collegiate Water Polo Association announced the 2018 preseason polls, ranking the Harvard men's water polo 11th in the nation. This marks the third consecutive season the Crimson has ranked among the top 15 in the country.
The 11th spot marks the second highest preseason ranking the Crimson has earned since the CWPA began publishing preseason polls. Harvard's highest ranking and finish came in 2016, rounding out the season ninth.
The Crimson will face three of the top ten ranked opponents during opening weekend at the Bruno Classic, Pacific fifth, UC Davis seventh and Pepperdine eighth. Both Harvard and Brown will host the Classic beginning Sept. 1.
