Marshall Set to Compete at ICSA Singlehanded National Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—After earning a first-place finish at the New England Men's Singlehanded Championships in September, first year Henry Marshall is set to sail at the ICSA Singlehanded National Championship hosted by Hope College (Mich.) this weekend, Nov. 3-4.

Forecast

Sailors competing in Michigan can expect winds between five to 10 knots and waves between one and two feet throughout the weekend.

What to Know

  • Marshall's first-place finish at the New England Men's Singlehanded Championship earned him a spot at ICSA Nationals. His win also earned him NEISA Coed Sailor of the Week Honors and marked Marshall's first collegiate competition as well as his first career victory.
  • Marshall has also competed as a skipper in three regattas for the Crimson, earning fourth at the Hood Trophy, fifth in the A-Division at the Sister Esther Open, and 12th in the A-Division at the AC Showcase.

The Crimson returns to the water in the spring for its 2019 team campaign.
