CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Head softball coach Jenny Allard has announced that Jennifer Rohn has joined the Crimson coaching staff as a volunteer assistant for the 2016 season.
"We are fortunate to have Jenny join our staff this year," said Allard. "She has transitioned on the staff quickly and will make an immediate impact with our team."
Rohn is a 2015 graduate of Western Michigan where she was a member of the softball team for four years. A captain from 2013-15, Rohn collected a number of awards as a student-athlete for the Broncos including being named to the All-Mid-American second team, the all-academic Mid-American team and receiving the Mid-American Conference Distinguished Scholar Athlete award. A prominent starter in the Broncos' outfield for three seasons, Rohn was a part of 83 wins during her career at Western Michigan.
In addition to her experience as a Division I athlete, Rohn has also been an instructor with Premier Softball in Troy, Michigan, as well as with the Birmingham Jaguars 12U-16U softball organization.
Rohn graduated from Western Michigan in December 2015 with a degree in elementary education and minors in mathematics and social studies.
Harvard opens the softball season Feb. 26 with four games at the Jacksonville University Tournament.
