Meagan Lantz hit her first career grand slam vs. San Diego State (Fran Ruchalski).
PRINCETON, N.J. – Freshman infielder Meagan Lantz has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the second-straight week, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
Lantz had a tremendous seven games during the Crimson's California road trip, batting .455 and slugging .773. She buoyed the Harvard offense against San Diego State, driving in five runs, including a grand slam. She had seven total RBI over those seven games, as well as 10 hits.
The Crimson stands at 9-10 with a doubleheader at Rhode island on the docket for Thursday afternoon.
