PRINCETON, N.J. – Junior left-hander Kathleen Duncan garnered Ivy League Pitcher of the Week accolades for the second straight week announced on Monday afternoon.
In three appearances in the circle at the Carolina Classic, Duncan posted a 1-1 record with a 3.06 ERA, 1.63 WHIP, and nine strikeouts. The nothern New Jersey native led Harvard to its first victory in program history against North Carolina last Friday evening. Duncan earned the win tossing a complete game, allowing two unearned runs, while striking out five Tar Heels.
Currently, Duncan has a 3-4 mark on the season with a 2.53 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, and 23 strikeouts in eight appearances in 2018.
Harvard (3-6) went 1-3 as a team at the Carolina Classic. The Crimson returns to the diamond on Friday, March 9 to begin a string of five games in five days in southern California.
