PRINCETON, N.J.- For the first time of the 2019 season, senior Katie Duncan garnered Ivy League Pitcher of the Week honors as announced by the league on Monday, April 1.
Over the weekend the New Jersey native picked up two wins in the overall series sweep against the Brown Bears. Collectively the senior sent seven batters back to the bench while giving up just six hits and two walks over 12 full innings of play. Additionally, Duncan recorded her first shutout of the season in the opening series game against the Bears to collect the 2-0 victory.
Duncan and the rest of the Harvard softball team, in a quick turnaround, travel to Holy Cross for a midweek contest beginning at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, April 2.
