PRINCETON, N.J.- For her performance over the course of last week, senior left-handed pitcher Katie Duncan of the Harvard Softball team was named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week on Monday, April 15 by the League. This marks Duncan's second time on the season she was awarded the honor.
Over the course of last week, the senior tabbed a save against Boston University and three-straight victories against Dartmouth for the series sweep. Collectively Duncan recorded 23 strikeouts, a 1.84 ERA while allowing opponents with a .190 batting average with only 19 hits and seven walks over her 26.2 innings in the circle.
Duncan and the rest of the Harvard softball team travel to Providence for a midweek contest beginning at 4 p.m. tomorrow, April 16.
