Softball Announces Class of 2023

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- Harvard softball, coming off its second-straight Ivy League championship and  NCAA Regionals appearance, has added seven new faces to its roster: Allison Heffley, Lindsay G. Poulos, Amerys Barshtak, Kendall Jean, Marissa Zheng, Lauren Bobowski, and Lindsay S. Poulos.

The first-years will be met by a team that broke numerous records last season. For the first time in school history, Harvard won both the Ivy League title and Ivy League Playoff  Series championship. The graduated seniors finished as the only class to lead Harvard to an Ivy League playoff appearance in all four seasons.

The 2018 Ragatz Family Harvard Women's Coach of Excellence Jenny Allard celebrated her 25th year as head coach for the Crimson and won her 300th Ivy League game last season. The season was capped off by a second straight appearance in the NCAA Regionals.

"We are thrilled to welcome these talented young women to the Harvard Softball Family," said Coach Allard. "I know they will work hard to achieve their academic goals while pursuing excellence on the softball field.  They will be great members of the residential community and will take full advantage of the opportunities at Harvard."

The Crimson looks to continue its success this season with the addition of this talented group of first-years.
