STOWE, Vt.—Harvard skiers Hannah Hardenbergh and James Kitch closed out their weekend at the 2019 NCAA Skiing Championships earlier today, competing in the women’s 15k and men’s 20k classical race in Stowe, Vt.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Senior Hannah Hardenbergh and first-year James Kitch are set to represent the Harvard nordic ski team at the 2019 NCAA Skiing Championships this weekend, March 6-9, in Stowe, Vt. Competing at the Trapp Family Lodge, the two Crimson skiers will tackle the 5/10K skate on Wednesday, March 6 before concluding the weekend with the 15/20K classic on Friday.
NEWRY, Maine—The Harvard ski team capped its regular season in an impressive fashion, claiming a ninth-place team finish at the EISA Regional Championships hosted by Bates this weekend, Feb. 22-23. Accumulating 361 points across two days of competition, the Crimson matched its best program performance at Bates since the 2015 season.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—The Harvard ski team heads to Maine this weekend, Feb. 22-23, for the EISA Regional Championships hosted by Bates College. Alpine competition will be held at Sunday River in Newry, Maine while nordic competition will take place at Black Mountain in Rumford, Maine.
HANCOCK, Vt.—The Harvard ski team posted its best finish of the season at the Middlebury Carnival this weekend, coming in seventh in a field of 15 schools. This marks the team’s best result at Middlebury since the 1974 season, when the team also finished seventh overall.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Entering its final week of competition before EISA Regional Championships, the Harvard ski team heads to Hancock, Vermont for the Middlebury Carnival, Feb. 15-16. Alpine and nordic competition will be held at the Middlebury Snow Bowl and the Rikert Nordic Center, respectively.
HANOVER, N.H.—Overcoming unpredictable weather and tricky course conditions, the Harvard ski team cruised to a ninth-place finish at the Dartmouth Carnival this weekend, Feb. 8-9. This marks the first time the Crimson has broken the top-10 at Dartmouth since the 2013 season.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—The Harvard ski team takes off on another road trip, traveling to New Hampshire for the Dartmouth Carnival, Feb. 8-9. Alpine will compete at the Dartmouth Skiway while the nordic squad will race at the Dartmouth XC Ski Center at Oak Hill.
STOWE, Vt.—The Harvard ski team earned a top-10 finish this weekend at the UVM Carnival, posting 362 points to take eighth overall in a field of 16 schools. This marks the Crimson’s best finish at UVM since 1973, when Harvard placed fifth in a field of seven competitors.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—The Harvard ski team travels to Stowe, Vt. this weekend to contest the UVM Carnival, Feb. 1-2. The alpine team will compete on the Spruce Peak Main Street trail located on Mount Mansfield while the nordic squad will compete at the Trapp Family Lodge.
After a snowy weekend in New Hampshire, the Harvard men’s and women’s ski teams took 10th in a field of 15 teams at the UNH Carnival, besting its previous 11th place finish at the carnival during the 2015-16 season. The Crimson finished with an overall score of 385, just 15 points behind ninth place St. Michael’s College.
The Harvard ski team is gearing up for the UNH Carnival this weekend, Jan. 18-19, in Jackson, N.H. The alpine squad is set to compete on Cannon Mountain in Franconia, N.H. while the nordic team will race at Jackson XC in Jackson, N.H. Harvard returns to UNH for the first time since the 2016-17 season.
The Harvard ski team opened its 2019 season at the St. Lawrence Carnival this weekend, Jan. 11-13, in Lake Placid, N.Y. Out of a field of 17 schools, Harvard raced to a 10th place finish, earning 328 points over three days of competition on Whiteface Mountain and Mt. Van Hoevenberg.
The Harvard nordic and alpine skiing teams kick off the 2018-19 slate with a return to the St. Lawrence Carnival in Lake Placid, New York for the first time since the 2016-17 season. The nordic team opens competition on Friday, Jan. 11, competing at Mt. Van Hoevenberg through Saturday, Jan. 12. The alpine team will hit the slopes on Saturday, racing down Whiteface Mountain over a two-day spread to close out the weekend for the Crimson skiers on Sunday, Jan. 13.
Members of the Harvard nordic ski team competed at the U.S. Cross-Country Championship last weekend, Jan. 3-4, at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center in Craftsbury Common, Vermont. A total of 13 Crimson skiers competed across the weekend in long-distance and sprint-distance events in preparation for the team’s upcoming season opener.
In the spring, the Ivy League and ESPN agreed to a long-term relationship to showcase Ivy League events through a variety of ESPN platforms. This includes coverage for all 42 Harvard varsity programs on ESPN linear networks and ESPN+.
