Hardenbergh, Kitch Wrap Up First Day of NCAA Championships

STOWE, Vt.—Harvard skiers Hannah Hardenbergh and James Kitch wrapped up their first day of competition at the NCAA Championships this afternoon in Stowe, Vt.

Kitch opened up the day for the Crimson, racing in the men's 10k freestyle event. The first-year placed 37th overall in his first career NCAA race, completing two loops of Trapp Family Lodge 5k course in 26:16.0. Senior Hardenbergh rounded out the day for Harvard in the 5k women's freestyle, placing 35th overall with a time of 14:47.4.

Hardenbergh and Kitch close out the NCAA Championships on Friday, March 8, racing in the women's 15k and men's 20k classical events.
