  • Skiing Competes at UVM Carnival; Places Ninth

    STOWE, Vt.- For the second weekend in a row, junior Nellie Ide paced the alpine squad with a 14th place finish in the women’s slalom, competing against nearly 50 athletes. The team finished in the middle of the pack in ninth place out of 15 teams, bringing in 353 points.
  • Skiing Heads North for UVM Carnival

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Harvard ski team will head back up to Craftsbury, Vt. and to Stowe, Vt. for the UVM Carnival this weekend, Jan. 24-25. The alpine squad is set to compete in giant slalom on Jan. 24 and slalom on Jan. 25, while the nordic team will compete in the classic sprints on Jan. 24 and the 5K/10K skate on Jan 25. The team returns to the UVM Carnival after an eighth-place finish out of the 16 teams competing in the 2018-19 season.
  • First-Year Rémi Drolet Shines in the Harvard Carnival

    CAMBRIDGE-Mass. The Harvard ski team kicked off the 2019-20 season with the Inaugural Harvard Carnival, highlighted by a second place finish from first-year Rémi Drolet in the men’s 20km classic race. The carnival took place in Waterville Valley, N.H. for the alpine events, while the nordic races were contested in Craftsbury, Vt. The team finished out the event in eighth place.
  • Skiing Opens Winter Campaign at the Inaugural Harvard Carnival

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard nordic and alpine skiing teams will kick off the 2019-20 season with the inaugural Harvard Carnival in Waterville Valley, N.H. and Craftsbury, Vt. Both nordic and alpine will open competition on Friday, Jan. 17, with the alpine competition being live-streamed on ESPN+ in Waterville Valley. The nordic races will be live-streamed on Saturday, Jan. 18 from Craftsbury.
  • Nordic Skiing Location Moved to Craftsbury, Vt. for Harvard Carnival

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- Due to weather and projected course conditions, the Nordic skiing events as part of the inaugural Harvard Carnival have been moved from Dublin, N.H. to Craftsbury, Vt. on Jan. 17-18. Alpine skiing events will remain at Waterville Valley, N.H.
  • Skiing’s Inaugural Harvard Carnival to be Broadcast on ESPN+

    The Harvard alpine and nordic ski team's inaugural Harvard Carnival will be live-streamed on ESPN+ the weekend of Jan. 17-18 with live broadcast being the first of its kind on the collegiate skiing circuit.

    Harvard first-year Rémi Drolet was featured in a recent article by Gerry Furseth of FasterSkier exploring the Canadian National Team’s renewed competitive focus in North America. Drolet is a native of Rossland, British Columbia, planning to concentrate in physics.

    The Harvard skiing team has announced the addition of six new student-athletes to Harvard. Lily Brunelle, Remi Drolet, Annabel Hagen, Sydney Mason, Liam McNamara and Phoebe Meyerson will join the skiing roster beginning with the 2020 campaign.

    The Harvard alpine and nordic ski teams have announced their campaign for the upcoming 2020 season.
