CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 5 Radcliffe lightweights will host No. 3 Princeton in the final dual race of the spring Saturday, April 22, as the Black and White will look to take the Class of 1999 Cup for the second-straight season.  

The event will be streamed live on the Ivy League Digital Network. Bill Spaulding will have the call.

Radcliffe placed second at the Muri Cup/Beanpot, defeating MIT, but falling to Boston University on the Charles River. 

Class of 1999 Cup
After capturing the Class of 1999 Cup last year, the Black and White has won 5 of the 11 competitions against Princeton since the annual event began in 2006. Radcliffe has taken four fo the last five varsity eight races against the Tigers in the Class of 1999 Cup.

About No. 3 Princeton
The Tigers are coming off a victory against Georgetown in the Class of 2006 Cup last weekend on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, New Jersey. Paul Rassam is in his 13th season as head coach of Princeton.

Radcliffe placed second at the Eastern Sprints Championships and was third at the IRA National Championships.  

RVL Wins
Dating back to April 21, 2012, Radcliffe has won 26 of 31 dual races. 

In the Launch
In her second season at the helm, Radcliffe lightweights head coach Sarah Baker guided the Black and White to a second-place finish at Easterns and a bronze medal at IRAs. Baker has a 8-4 career record at Radcliffe.
