No. 3 Princeton Edges No. 6 Radcliffe Lightweight Crew for Class of 1999 Cup

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 3 Princeton took three of four races from No. 6 Radcliffe lightweight crew Saturday to earn the Class of '99 Cup on Lake Carnegie.

Conditions were cold with a 13-17 mile per hour headwind.

Radcliffe's third varsity was able to cap the day with a victory. The Black and White was able to beat Princeton by 2.2 seconds, clocking in at 8:29.0.

The varsity eights were first on the water with Princeton crossing about 12 seconds ahead of the Black and White. The Tigers went on to also take varsity four and double events.
