Radcliffe Lightweight Crew Takes First, Fifth at 54th Head of the Charles Regatta

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Radcliffe lightweight crew team found success in the 54th annual Head of the Charles Regatta. 

The lightweight four squad earned a first-place finish, clipping the second-place finisher by more than 13 seconds with a time of 20:07.050 in a field of 16 competitors. 

In the lightweight eights race, Radcliffe was able to edge out MIT, Saurus and one of the Boston University boats for fifth place with a time of 19:11.616 while the B squad clocked in at 21:13.642 for ninth place.
