Harvard announces the 2010-11 men’s and women’s fencing schedules. Both teams have a competitive tournament schedule and a tough dual meet campaign to prepare for the NCAA Regional and NCAA Championships in March.
The season gets underway at the Penn State Open Nov. 13 where last year five Crimson fencers placed in the top five in their respective weapons. The Crimson women will host Tufts Dec. 1 before both teams travel to the Sacred Heart Invitational Dec. 5.
Harvard takes a seven-week hiatus in December and January prior to diving right back into action at the St. John’s Super Cup (Jan. 23), the MIT Invitational (Feb. 6), the Ivy League Championships (Feb. 12) and the Beanpot hosted by Brandeis (Feb. 16).
The Crimson will close out the season at the NCAA Regional (March 13) and the NCAA Championship (March 24-27) at Ohio State.
