Two Freshmen to Join Women's Fencing in 2016-17
The incoming Crimson will join one All-America selection from last year's squad (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Peter Brand, the head coach of the Harvard women's fencing team, has announced the addition of two freshmen for the upcoming 2016-17: Marta Lasota (sabre) and Natalie Yang (foil).
Lasota hails from Silver Spring, Maryland, while Yang is native of Colts Neck, New Jersey.
The two incoming freshman will join a team that went 14-1 in 2015-16, won its fourth Ivy League championship and had three All-Ivy and two All-America honorees.
