CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- For their senior year with the women's fencing team, Marta Lasota and Natalie Yang will serve as captains for the 2019-20 campaign. Per Harvard tradition, captains are chosen in an electoral fashion.
Over the course of the 2018-19 campaign, Yang qualified for NCAA Championships hosted by Cleveland State, where she registered a 16th-place finish in foil and concluded the year with a 47-39 mark and a +59-touch differential. In sabre, Lasota rounded out her season with a collective +57-touch variance on her 24-10 tally.
As a team, the Crimson boasted a 16-6 record and a fourth-place team outcome at the NCAA Championships. With its best finish since the winning season in 2006, three women collected All-America honors.
