Daniels, Tse Earn Roster Spots for USA vs. Canada Series

The pair will face off in the series beginning August 17 (Gil Talbot).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After competing in national camps for the United States and Canada earlier this month, senior Sydney Daniels was named to the USA roster while sophomore Kaitlin Tse will represent Hockey Canada.

Daniels will skate with the United States' Under-22 team for the second-straight year in the series. Competing on the left wing, Daniels scored a team-best 21 goals to go with 10 assists in 2015-16, including 14 scores over the final 12 games. No returning player in the country ended the season with as many goals to close the season. She earned postseason recognition from both the Ivy League and ECAC Hockey. Daniels tallied two points in the three-game set a year ago, on a goal and an assist.

Tse earned a spot with the Canada National Women's Development team for the 2016 series, her first appearance in the event. Tse potted one goal to go with 10 helpers in her freshman campaign, leading all Harvard first-year skaters in assists. The blue-liner tallied three assists in the ECAC quarterfinals at Colgate in February.

The 2016 series will begin Wednesday, August 17 with a 7:30 puck drop at the Markin MacPhail Center in Calgary, Alberta. Game two will follow on Friday, August 19 with the third contest scheduled for Saturday, August 20.
