Women’s Hockey Opens 2018-19 Season Against Dartmouth

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's hockey team is set to embark on the 2018-19 campaign this Friday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center. The Crimson will go head-to-head with Ivy rival Dartmouth, a matchup that will be broadcast on ESPN+.

What to Know

  • Harvard returns six of its top seven scorers from 2017-18, including Becca Gilmore who totaled 35 points in her rookie campaign.
  • Seven rookies will crack the lineup on Friday as the program welcomes four forwards, two defensemen and a goalie.
  • Harvard leads Dartmouth 47-43-3 in the all-time series and has beaten the Big Green in the last six meetings at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center.

Next Up
The Crimson will test its skills on the road next weekend, traveling to Cornell and Colgate for a pair of ECAC Hockey matchups. Harvard will contend with Ivy foe Cornell on Friday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m. and will turn around to face Colgate on Saturday at 3 p.m.
