WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Liza Ryabkina '11 has been selected as a 2019 inductee into the Beanpot Hall of Fame, as announced by Hockey East on Tuesday, Jan. 29. Ryabkina participated in all four Beanpot Tournaments during her time in Cambridge, winning two titles and compiling a statline of 6-4-10 through eight games. Ryabkina will be joined by Molly Schaus of Boston College and Linda Lindrigan of Northeastern, who will also be inducted during the 41st edition of the tournament.

Ryabkina's Beanpot career is highlighted by her contributions in the 2010 tournament, hosted by Harvard. In the opening round of 2010, the Kharkiv, Ukraine native scored four goals against Boston College in the Crimson's 5-0 win over the Eagles. In the title game, Ryabkina scored 35 seconds into the second period, a goal that would prove to be the game-winner in Harvard's 1-0 championship win over the Huskies. For her efforts, Ryabkina was named the tournament MVP as Harvard took home its 13th Beanpot title.

Harvard opens the 2019 Beanpot Tournament on Tuesday, Feb. 5 against Boston College at 8 p.m. Tickets to the event are just $10 or less or free with a valid Beanpot school ID. Prior to the Crimson's tilt with the Eagles, Northeastern will take on Boston University at 5 p.m. All games will be broadcast on ESPN+ as well as NESNPlus. For more information and tickets, visit
